Price and overview
$69.99 (list price $99.99)
The Govee RGBIC Floor Lamp Basic is a 53.7-inch tall LED corner lamp that produces up to 1,000 lumens of brightness. It connects to your home network via app or voice commands to let you control colors, brightness, and dynamic lighting effects.
What it does
- RGBIC color segments. Customize each section of the lamp independently to display multiple colors at once, rather than a single color throughout.
- App and voice control. Adjust settings through the Govee Home app (downloaded via QR code on the package) or by voice command through Alexa or Google Assistant.
- Music sync. The lamp responds to audio from movies, games, or music by changing color and brightness in time with the sound.
- Preset scenes and customization. Choose from 85 built-in dynamic scene modes or create your own from 16 million available colors.
- AI lighting adjustments. The AI lighting bot 2.0 can turn voice commands, text, or photos into personalized lighting effects.
- Portable design. The lamp is lightweight enough to move between rooms as needed.
Power and warranty
The lamp stands 53.7 inches tall and delivers a maximum brightness of 1,000 lumens. It requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network connection for app and smart home control.
Good to know before you buy
- Remote control is not included. You will use the app or voice commands to control the lamp.
- Wi-Fi only. The lamp works only on 2.4GHz networks, not 5GHz.
- App required. Full functionality depends on downloading the genuine Govee app using the QR code provided on the package.
- Best for corners and small spaces. Due to its size and brightness level, it is designed for accent lighting rather than primary room illumination.
Who it suits
This lamp works well for people setting up decorative or accent lighting in gaming rooms, bedrooms, or living room corners, and who want app-based control and color customization. It is less suitable for anyone who prefers simple on-off operation without a smartphone app, or who needs bright overhead lighting for a large space.
