Price and overview
$9.99 (list price $14.99)
The ARTISTRO 36 is a set of water-based acrylic paint markers with dual tips—a fine 1 mm point for detail work and a flexible brush tip that ranges from 1 to 5 mm. They're designed to work on multiple surfaces including paper, canvas, wood, rock, ceramic, glass, and metal.
What it does
- Dual-tip design. Switch between a 1 mm fine tip for precise lines and a 1–5 mm brush tip for broader strokes.
- Water-based acrylic paint. The markers contain richly pigmented, opaque acrylic paint that delivers vibrant color on most surfaces.
- Multiple surface compatibility. You can use them on paper, canvas, wood, rock, ceramic, glass, metal, and more, though results and drying time may vary by material.
- Pre-activated and ready to use. Unlike pump-action markers, these come with pre-activated cotton nibs and require no pressing to get started.
- Versatile applications. Suitable for lettering, sketching, coloring, illustrations, journaling, crafts, and DIY projects.
- Cotton nib construction. Provides smooth, consistent ink flow during use.
Good to know before you buy
- Surface variation. On non-porous materials like glass, ceramic, and metal, the paint may need extra drying time to set properly.
- Storage and setup. Store the markers horizontally and shake gently before first use; testing on scrap paper is recommended.
- Color coverage depends on surface. The surface color and material you're working on will affect how the paint looks and covers.
Who it suits
This set works for beginners, hobbyists, and experienced artists looking for an affordable acrylic marker option. The dual tips make it useful if you want both fine detail and brush work in one tool. If you primarily work on non-porous surfaces like glass or metal, be aware that drying times may be longer than on paper or canvas, so factor that into your workflow.
