What it does

  • Battery-powered spraying. Press a button to spray marker ink in a fine mist rather than drawing by hand.
  • Works with multiple marker types. Compatible with Crayola Broadline, Super Tips, and Pip-Squeaks markers, so you can expand beyond the included 8 markers.
  • Includes stencils. Five reusable stencil templates let you create patterned designs by placing them on paper before spraying.
  • Washable markers. The included markers are washable, making cleanup easier.
  • Color mixing. Load different marker colors to layer and blend effects on the same piece of artwork.
  • Downward-spray design. The airbrush only sprays when pointed downward, which reduces accidental overspray.

Power and warranty

The airbrush runs on four AA batteries, which are not included in the kit and must be purchased separately.

Good to know before you buy

  • Batteries not included. You will need to buy four AA batteries to use the airbrush.
  • Marker-specific. The airbrush only works with certain Crayola marker types—Broadline, Super Tips, and Pip-Squeaks—and not with all Crayola markers.
  • Downward spraying only. The marker only sprays when the airbrush is pointed downward, which limits the angles you can work with.

In the box

You get one redesigned battery-powered airbrush, eight washable markers, and five reusable stencils.

Who it suits

This kit is best for children ages 6 and up who enjoy hands-on art projects and want to try a different spray technique. It works well if you already have compatible Crayola markers at home or plan to buy more. It is probably not the right choice if you need an airbrush for detailed fine art or professional use, or if you prefer traditional marker drawing without batteries and setup.
