The Govee Tree Floor Lamp is a three-armed floor lamp where each arm rotates independently and can be angled for different lighting effects. It connects to smart home systems via Matter, Google Assistant, and Alexa, and includes built-in music sync that responds to sound.
What it does
- Three independent lamps. Each arm adjusts separately with 350° horizontal rotation and 90° vertical tilt, allowing you to direct light where you need it.
- Lighting adjustment. Offers a focus range from 30° to 90° for wall-washing effects or concentrated task lighting, plus brightness up to 500 lumens per lamp (1500 lumens total).
- Color and temperature control. Produces 16 million colors and supports tunable white from 2700K to 6500K for warm or cool light.
- Scene modes. Includes 64 preset scene modes with smooth transitions between effects.
- Voice control. Works with Matter, Google Assistant, and Alexa for hands-free operation. You can also control it through the Govee Home App to adjust brightness, set schedules, and create custom scenes.
- Music sync. Built-in microphone detects sound and can sync lights to music across 7 different modes. You can link up to 5 Govee lights together for coordinated effects.
- AI customization. The AI Lighting Bot 2.0 can generate personalized lighting effects based on voice commands, text descriptions, or photos, then refine them through conversation.
Good to know before you buy
- No battery. This is a plug-in lamp, so it requires an outlet and cannot be used as a cordless light.
- Stability on different surfaces. The weighted base is designed to stay stable on carpet, tile, and hardwood flooring.
- Matter compatibility required. Smart home features depend on having a Matter-compatible hub or system in place.
Who it suits
This lamp works well for people who want flexible lighting control across different areas of a room, enjoy customizing ambiance with color, or use smart home systems. It's a good fit if you want lighting that responds to music or voice commands. It's less suitable for anyone who needs cordless lighting, prefers simple on-off functionality without app setup, or doesn't have space for a floor lamp with a three-arm footprint.
