Price and overview
$37.99 (list price $69.99)
The Soundcore Q20i is a pair of over-ear headphones with active noise cancelling, designed for travel and daily commuting. They combine noise reduction across multiple microphones with a long battery life and the ability to connect to two devices at once.
What it does
- Active noise cancelling. Four microphones (two internal, two external) work together to reduce external noise, according to the manufacturer up to 90%.
- Sound quality. 40mm drivers deliver audio with adjustable bass through BassUp technology, and support Hi-Res audio when connected via the included AUX cable.
- Dual device connection. Pair with two Bluetooth devices simultaneously and switch between them automatically based on which one is sending audio.
- Customizable sound. Download the Soundcore app to adjust EQ across 22 presets, switch between ANC, Normal, and Transparency modes, or add white noise.
- Transparency mode. Hear your surroundings when needed, useful for announcements, crossing streets, or staying aware of your environment.
- App support. Firmware updates and additional features are available through the Soundcore app, including HearID personalization and Spatial Audio.
Power and warranty
Battery life runs for 40 hours with active noise cancelling enabled, or 60 hours in normal mode without ANC. A 5-minute quick charge provides an extra 4 hours of playback. The listing does not specify warranty coverage.
Good to know before you buy
- The app is required. You need to download the Soundcore app to access EQ customization, mode switching, and firmware updates.
- Bluetooth 5.0 only. The dual-device connection works over Bluetooth; the AUX cable is for wired audio only and does not enable dual connections.
- No warranty details provided. The listing does not mention coverage, duration, or how to claim warranty support.
Who it suits
These headphones work well for people who commute regularly, travel by plane or train, or work in offices where background noise is a concern. The long battery life and dual-device switching also suit people who move between a laptop and phone throughout the day. They are less suitable for people who prefer lightweight or portable headphones, since over-ear models are larger and heavier than earbuds.
