What it does

  • Top-fill tank. The 8-litre (2.1-gallon) tank fills from the top, so you can pour water in without tipping the unit. Lacidoll rates one fill at up to 48 hours.
  • Humidity control. Set a target between 45% and 95% and the built-in sensor adjusts the mist to hold it.
  • Three mist levels. Low, medium and high, so you can match the output to the room and the weather.
  • Sleep mode. Switches the display off completely for the night. Lacidoll lists the noise level at 35 dB.
  • Aroma tray and 360° nozzle. An essential-oil tray adds scent, and the nozzle can be aimed in any direction.
  • Timer and remote. A 1 to 12-hour timer, set from the LED panel or the remote control.
  • Easy to clean. The tank opens fully for cleaning, and Lacidoll says there is no filter to replace.

Specs and warranty

Lacidoll lists the mist output at 300 mL per hour and says that covers about 500 to 800 sq ft. The unit shuts off automatically when the water runs low. It comes with a 30-day free replacement and a 12-month warranty.

Good to know before you buy

  • Coverage is the maker’s figure. Real results depend on your room, so treat 800 sq ft as the upper limit rather than the target.
  • It’s a tall, floor-standing tower. Check the dimensions on the listing against the space you have.
  • Big tanks need regular cleaning. The tank opens fully, which helps, but plan to rinse it often.

Who it suits

Large bedrooms, nurseries and living rooms that get dry in winter, and anyone who would rather fill a tank less often. For a small room, a smaller humidifier will do the job with less water and less cleaning.
