Price and overview
$25.99 (list price $26.52)
This is a motorized nail grinder designed for dogs and cats. It uses a diamond grinding bit to trim and smooth nails, with a built-in LED light to help you see what you're doing and avoid cutting too far.
What it does
- Quiet operation. The ultra-quiet, low-vibration design is intended to keep anxious or sensitive pets calmer during grooming.
- Multiple grinding bits. It comes with three diamond grinding bits—a softer one for finishing and a harder one for faster grinding on thick nails—plus one pre-installed.
- Three speed settings. You can adjust between low speed for small dogs and cats, and medium or high speed for larger dogs with thicker nails.
- Built-in LED light. The bright light illuminates the nail so you can see the sensitive quick and avoid cutting into it.
- Motor power. The device runs at up to 12,000 RPM to handle grinding work efficiently.
- Works for all sizes. The variable speed and bit options are designed to handle nails from small breeds to large dogs.
Power and warranty
The grinder charges via USB cable and has a 12,000 RPM motor with three speed settings. The listing does not specify battery life, charging time, or any warranty details.
Good to know before you buy
- No grinding experience required. The LED light and three-speed motor are designed to help beginners use it safely.
- Dust management. A removable dust cap is included to catch debris, though you should expect some dust during use.
- Motor noise level not specified. While described as 'whisper quiet,' the listing does not provide a decibel measurement.
In the box
The package includes the grinder itself, three diamond grinding bits (one already attached), a nail clipper and trimmer tool, a removable dust cap, a velvet storage bag, and a USB charging cable.
Who it suits
This works well for pet owners who want to groom their dogs or cats at home and prefer a cordless, handheld tool. The three speed settings make it usable across different pet sizes. It's probably not the right choice if your pet is extremely anxious about any grooming tool, or if you need professional-grade equipment for very frequent use.
