The Tikom L8000 Plus is a robot vacuum and mop combination with a self-emptying base station. It handles both sweeping and mopping in one device, with app and voice control to schedule and customize cleaning.
What it does
- Self-emptying base. The 3L dustbag collects debris over weeks of cleaning, reducing how often you need to empty it manually.
- Dual cleaning function. Vacuums and mops in the same pass, with separate settings for each function.
- LiDAR navigation. Uses 360-degree scanning to map your home, avoid obstacles like stairs and walls, and prevent missed areas.
- Suction power. Generates up to 6000Pa of suction, with automatic boost when detecting carpet.
- Runtime and recharge. Runs for up to 150 minutes on a single charge in gentle mode, then automatically returns to the dock and resumes cleaning where it stopped.
- App and voice control. Schedule cleanings, set no-go zones, adjust water and suction levels, or control it via Alexa. Supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi.
- Multi-floor support. Can save and manage up to five separate floor maps.
Power and warranty
Battery life reaches 150 minutes in gentle suction mode. The vacuum auto-docks and auto-resumes when the battery depletes, so it can continue cleaning without stopping.
Good to know before you buy
- Mopping and carpets. You need to manually remove the mop holder before cleaning carpets or set up a no-mop zone in the app to avoid wetting them.
- Suction and water settings. Three suction levels and three water flow settings are available, but you'll need to adjust them manually for different floor types.
- Obstacle avoidance. While LiDAR helps the vacuum navigate, it still relies on smart mapping to recognize stairs and walls—performance may vary in complex layouts.

Who it suits
This vacuum works best for people with a mix of hard floors and carpets who want a hands-off cleaning routine and don't mind using an app to set boundaries and preferences. It's less ideal for homes with very thick carpeting, frequent layout changes, or users who prefer simple, button-only controls.
